  2. Did you ever take …
Did you ever take close look at contemporary american housing. I could right trough the walls. And if some would lean against them, they would collapse.

  4. can you make the …
can you make the bricks wider? where do you run plumbing and wiring? do you have “model” houses somewhere in the US? what problems do you have with local inspectors? how many tons of compression on the bricks when you make them? 30 ton or more I hope. What is the cost of the machine? where is it made?

  5. what sort of …
what sort of pressure can these bricks take? there is alot to be said for concrete and steel bar. It has to potentail (i know thats spelt wrong, i’m a builder, not a …….good speller?) to be a good idea.

  6. Even with the re- …
Even with the re-bars, still looks very flimsy. thin walls, is cheap housing to put a band aid on a problem, but not a permanent one. I would not feel safe inside these homes. Tin roofs too? Load bearing? nahhhhhh. I’ll pass. Does the “inventor” lives inside one of these homes? I don’t think so.

  8. I thought those …
I thought those were used as placeholders, or for making sure that the hole was kept clear until the cement is poured. They look too thin to be of any structural use.

  11. Stacking ten …
Stacking ten maximum containers on top of each other without using any columns or beams can save a lot of money.if you build 30 story apartment building, then you have to use fire proof steel frame and then inserting the steel boxes into the structure. Le Corbusier designed it in 1922, but was never built. George Wu, AIA 2012-12-24

  12. There are about …
There are about five million used shipping containers in the world today. Someone already figured out that if you line them up end to end, the containers are long enough to circle the earth once around. Recycle the used containers at $ U.S.$2,000 a piece to design housing for millions of people in the world ? Build 30 story or 10 story apartment buildings by inserting the containers like slide the drawers into a cabinet. It was the idea by the great architect Corbusier! George Wu, AIA 2012-12-24

  13. They build the 8″ …
They build the 8″ brick walls from the ground up so that they are ready to be washed away next time. Is that the idea ? It is like a kitchen, clean it up so that the kitchen will be ready for the preparation of the next meal ! What a stupid way to waste energy. They should think of building the housing above the flood level with steel or concrete structures, then inserting the steel shipping containers that would last the next natural disaster again. 14. I still looked hard …
I still looked hard at the idea of a 20′ diameter multi-color dome tent made of disposable plastic, with air hose ribs that inflate for a week of living in the same spot.

“why not instead buy a cheap good ole sawmill”

Um DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH because trees are a whole lot less available than clay and sand under their feet.

“company dont get to sell their brick presses”

You are truly satanic. This method allows poor people to make bricks from clay and sand and a small amount of concrete without having to bake the bricks like modern methods use. Therefore people who lived in scrap board shanties can have a better place to live.
